Anne Marie Whitesell is Professor and Faculty Director of the Program on International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at Georgetown University Law Center. Formerly Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (2001–2007), she has practiced law in the U.S. and France with firms including Dechert LLP, and served as arbitrator, counsel, and legal expert in numerous international arbitration cases. She has taught at Université de Paris I and the Institut de Droit Comparé, and currently directs the ADR Center at the International Law Institute. Anne Marie is admitted to the New York and D.C. Bars, and to U.S. federal courts in New York.
