A lawyer and economist, Antolín Fernández Antuña is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with extensive experience in international arbitration. Formerly a tax inspector with the Ministry of Public Finance and counsel for the Kingdom of Spain at the Ministry of Justice, he has participated in over 50 commercial and investment arbitrations across sectors including construction, energy, mining, real estate, finance, telecommunications, and infrastructure. At ICSID, he has served in more than 30 cases as arbitrator, counsel, or legal expert. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Arbitration Commission of ICC Spain.
