Fabiola Medina is the founding partner of Medina Garnes Abogados and a leading figure in arbitration in the Dominican Republic. She has served as arbitrator, expert, and counsel in prominent commercial and investment arbitration cases, and was Vice President of Legal-Regulatory Affairs at Verizon Dominicana (1996–2004). A former assistant to the chief legal adviser of the Dominican president, she helped draft the country’s commercial arbitration law and led the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce’s arbitration center. From 2005 to 2012, she served on the ICC International Court of Arbitration. She holds law degrees from UNPHU, Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Universidad de Salamanca, and has received multiple national and international recognitions for her legal contributions.
