Fernando Mantilla-Serrano is a partner and Global Co-chair of the International Arbitration Practice at Latham & Watkins. A graduate of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (JD, Economics major) and a Fulbright Scholar (LLM, NYU), he also holds advanced degrees in international law and EU law from Université de Paris II. With extensive experience in international arbitration, he represents companies, states, and state-owned entities in complex commercial and investor-state disputes. He has acted under ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCC, and ad hoc rules. He also serves as arbitrator and has contributed to drafting Spain’s Arbitration Act (2003). Admitted in Colombia, New York, Paris, and Madrid.
