Professor Ziya Akıncı, a member of the Istanbul Bar, is a prominent professor of Private International Law at Galatasaray University and a recognized expert in international arbitration and construction law. Frequently appointed as arbitrator, he has served in tribunals under ICC, LCIA, ICSID, DIAC, and other major institutions across diverse jurisdictions and governing laws, including Turkish, French, Swiss, and English law. Founder and President of ISTAC, he has pioneered arbitration in Turkey.
