With 40 years of legal and litigation experience, Mr. Certilman is a Chartered Arbitrator and Accredited Mediator (CEDR) specializing in cost-efficient, well-managed dispute resolution. He has served in over 350 arbitrations (30+ as panel chair) and 50 mediations since 1988, spanning areas such as investment disputes, commercial contracts, IT, real estate, intellectual property, telecommunications, and life sciences. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the College of Commercial Arbitrators, he holds panel appointments with global institutions like AAA, ICDR, HKIAC, and VIAC. Formerly an adjunct professor at Fordham Law, he is widely recognized for his ADR expertise and leadership.
