As a prelude to BVI Arbitration Week 2024, the BVI International Arbitration Centre will be holding a free webinar online on 13 October 2023 at 5:30 pm (AST) on Fintech Arbitration Disputes: The Caribbean and Silicon Valley Perspectives.

This webinar will highlight emerging trends in the use of dispute resolution clauses in crypto contracts internationally, in BVI, the Caribbean, and the United States. In addition, discuss topics such as the interplay of arbitration clauses in crypto-related contracts and factors to consider when drafting arbitration clauses for cryptocurrency T&Cs.

Special guest speakers include Mark Forte, Managing Partner and Head of the Litigation and Restructuring at Conyers, Tara E. Frater, Principal and Founder of FT Legal, and Gary L. Benton, U.S. and International Arbitrator at Gary Benton Arbitration. Sarah E. Reynolds, Managing Partner at Goldman Ismail Thomaselli Brennan and Shan M.
